PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The SAP Convergent Mediation Analyst supports the development, testing and deployment of Convergent Mediation solutions to move information into SAP.  It requires an understanding of the subjacent business process for what the data is used, as well as an understanding of the business rules governing both upstream and downstream processes. The analyst will also support the documentation of requirements and specifications needed to design, recommend and implement solutions to improve the flow of information.

 

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support troubleshooting of incidents or defects that arise in supported applications and ensure a timely resolution. Ensure that all stakeholders are updated on progress as well.
  • Perform data analysis to understand how data impacts solutions.
  • Perform analysis of existing solutions to understand how they function. Further using this analysis to resolve incidents and/or design improvements.
  • Under direction, create Functional Specifications and perform system configuration
  • Support the team to design, build, and deploy solutions, project deliverables, and enhancements
  • Proactively participate in daily production checks and operations process required for ensuring any incidents are avoided or detected in time on supported applications.
  • Support the completion of application service requests, provide continual business application support, research transactional issues, identify root causes as well as assist with upgrade and maintenance of applications.
  • Support the team in applying a variety of techniques to elicit and gather business and user requirements from stakeholders.
  • Support testing of existing and new solutions for projects, upgrades, incident fixes, and application service requests
  • Participate in rotational 24*7 on call support

 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of Java coding skills including coding environment usage (ECLIPSE, GiT, Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Ideally at least 2 or more full project lifecycles in modules related to integration with SAP (Similar to PI/PO, CM, MuleSoft, ITX)
  • Experience with SAP Convergent Mediation architecture, configuration and usage is an asset
  • Spanish proficiency is an asset
  • SAP BRIM, SAP SD and SQL familiarity is an asset
