Accounting Analyst
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Accounting analyst will provide financial and operational results to business leads and financial planners through the execution of their responsibilities. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of financial data from ensuring completeness and accuracy through the collection process, identifying the analytics potential and analyzing financial and operational data to provide actionable insight.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Prepare and post monthly and quarterly journal entries
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations of key accounts
• Analyze financial results regularly to ensure financial data is complete and reflective of operational reality
• Coordinate activities with the multiple internal stakeholders that provide information into the accounting and reporting process or require its output
• Contribute to relevant sections of external financial disclosures
• Document applicable internal control processes
• Identify, analyze and reconcile inconsistent information and recommend adjustments where necessary
• Identify and analyze possible improvements to processes and implement selected solutions
• Address and respond to queries from auditors and internal reviewers
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Min. 1 year post graduate work in accounting, from firm or industry
• Registered (or registering) in training towards CPA designation
• Undergraduate degree or College Diploma program in the following areas of study - Accounting, Finance, Business Administration

Management Conductor Program:
