Accounting Analyst CPA Development
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Accounting analyst supports different Finance teams in the execution of their responsibilities. This role performs three or four rotations of six to nine months each.
The accounting analyst will report to a mentor who will assist the candidates in completing their application for the CPA designation through the experience verification path.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform journal entries and reconciliations
- Coordinate activities with the multiple internal stakeholders that provide information into the accounting and reporting process or require its output
- Prepare external financial disclosures
- Prepare financial analysis on monthly and quarterly data
- Document internal control processes
- Identify, analyze and reconcile inconsistent information and recommend adjustments where necessary
- Identify and analyze possible improvements to processes and implement selected solutions
- Address and respond to queries from auditors and internal reviewers
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Registered (or registering) in training towards CPA designation
Undergraduate degree or College Diploma program in the following areas of study:

Management Conductor Program:
