PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
As a Hospitality Attendant, you are at the heart of creating unforgettable guest experiences in some of CPKC’s most iconic venues. Whether you're welcoming distinguished guests, curating comfort in luxurious accommodations, or supporting executive-level events, your contribution ensures every moment is seamless, personalized, and memorable. From food and beverage service to housekeeping and guest relations, you’ll be part of a team that delivers excellence with warmth and precision.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Deliver outstanding, memorable service experiences to all CPKC guests across diverse hospitality settings
- Provide attentive guest services, including food and beverage service, event support, and meeting facilitation, consistently exceeding expectations
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, health regulations, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards for a safe and welcoming environment
- Perform meticulous housekeeping duties—cleaning, laundry, stocking supplies, and executing minor repairs—to maintain pristine facilities and guest accommodations
- Execute administrative tasks and digital duties related to Novisign, Square Dashboard, and internal websites to support seamless operations
- Oversee point of sale transactions, inventory management, and efficient stocking at 1881 Lodge and Ogden Station
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma
- Standard First Aid certification is required with a preference for CPR Level C, ProServe and Food Safety certification
- 1 year experience in front-of-house hospitality roles, point of sale transactions, and specialty coffee preparation (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos)
- Valid driver’s license and passport required for operational flexibility and guest support
- Proven ability to perform all housekeeping and physical tasks, including lifting, standing and kneelin
- Willing to perform a variety of duties to support dynamic operational requirements

Management Conductor Program
Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
