PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Labourer will be responsible for general cleaning duties around the mechanical car shop.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Facility and office cleaning
• Sweeping, and mopping of floors
• Empty garbage’s and change bags
• Mobile asset inspections; light vehicle , tool, equipoment maintenance and repair
• Operating forklift
• Pressure wash and clean Maintenance bay, shop floor, equipment and vehicles
• Pressure wash and scrub clean equipment & vehicles
• Shop clean up and organization
• Fuel tank car offloading

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a High School Diploma or General Equivalence Diploma;
• Experience working with/around heavy equipment;
• Mechanical aptitude an asset
• Must be able to work within strict established safety and work guidelines/rules to complete job;
• Will be required to have/obtain all CP certification pertaining to specific tasks and assignments;
• CPKC operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; must be able to work on various shifts and days off;
