PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prepare, format, and coordinate learning materials for print production and dissemination across multiple platforms
  • Ensure all final artwork assets meet standards for proper archiving in document management systems (including file naming conventions, resolution requirements, and print-ready formats)
  • Respond to inquiries related to print production and artwork creation, ensuring accurate troubleshooting of design or printing file issues
  • Lead all aspects of the print production workflow, including pre-flight preparation of learning materials, graphic design or layout adjustments for print, and ensuring adherence to print specifications
  • Project coordination related to print fulfillment, including maintaining accurate shopping cart inventories, coordinating logistics for international shipping, and ensuring proper packing for printed products
  • Translation of learning materials, which involves project coordination and conversion of course materials to multiple languages [e.g. French and Spanish], including reassembly of multi-media content for instructor-led and e-learning projects utilizing Storyline software
  • Liaising between the Business and the Training Design Team to process archiving requests, complete print orders, and coordinate related tasks

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • University diploma or equivalent experience in adult education, eLearning design, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro
  • 3+ years of experience with authoring software including Articulate 360 suite (e.g. Rise, Review, Storyline)

Management Conductor Program

Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
