<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The primary objective of the position is to support CP data interchanges with its customer, partners and other railroad using A2A and B2B services. The role will be responsible for leading SAP PO, WTX / ITXA, API, and other cloud integration services. The position will require working with internal IS and business units stakeholder to understand their integration needs and map it to integration services supported by the team. The position will be responsible for supporting existing integration platforms, developing new strategies for future roadmap to meet CP business model.


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Support onboarding EDI integrations with CP external customers, vendors and third parties by managing priorities and escalations;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Support integrations with Customers using emerging technologies like API and Blockchain;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensure all the applications are running on supported versions and upgrades are planned when needed and executed successfully;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Work with IS application teams and project managers to provide resources for day to day support and projects across CP IS department;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Represent CP at industry EDI working committee and BiTA work groups;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provide leadership to the upgrade initiatives across platforms owned within the team including  B2B and UNIKIX upgrades;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Lead CP’s initiatives to onboard CP on Blockchain platform such as TradeLens;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Plan and execute work stream of vulnerability management, certificate management and Security audits;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Based on the overall IS DevOps framework, align the team working model and tools to meet framework goals;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manage team members allocation to capital projects, sustainment activities and enhancements;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Support team members development by providing guidance and feedback on their individual development plan;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Coach team members using CP leadership competencies framework;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Build relationships with CP customer service team and Account managers to support their needs for customer onboarding and ongoing support;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Empower people to highlight data inefficiencies and areas for improvement. This includes monitoring and recommending improvements to operational process while contributing to the overall team maturity.


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">University Degree in computer science or equivalent is must;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">5 years of experience managing team of 8+ members delivering and supporting Integration services;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">8 years of experience in SAP PI/PO and or IBM Sterling B2B platform development and configuration;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">4 years of experience in managing B2B or A2A Integration projects is plus;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">2 years of experience in API development SAP cloud connector is plus;
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Expert knowledge in at least two of the following areas: mutual TLS and certificate based authentication, software load balancing, web server security tightening;
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Strong, demonstrable understanding of B2B and A2A integration principles and tools;
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Broad knowledge of infrastructure supporting integration platforms; database technologies; Linux OS; firewalls, FTP/SFTP;
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Understands the 5 ITIL stages (Strategy, Design, Transition, Operation and Continual service improvement) and its processes;
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Comprehensive level of technical knowledge in Web application deployment and architecture;
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Strong team player with skills to coach other members with less technical and project experience;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Solid time management and planning skills;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight schedule.
