As part of the Innovation and transformation team, you will be responsible for leading strategic roadmap projects for business initiatives as well as innovation lab projects to experiment on new technologies. You will be responsible for overall success of large business transformation projects working with business partners to deliver end to end process identification, simplification and standardization.



  • Lead MYP planning and Technology Portfolio planning and execution. Ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the projects and programs in the portfolio and resolve or escalate conflicts.
  • Lead reviews of any significant initiatives, projects or programs that are challenged and provide recommendations as to whether it should continue, be significantly changed, placed on hold or discontinued.
  • Work with Business Transformation – Partners to lead organizational planning, re-engineering and transformation initiatives (benefits management, program stakeholder management and program governance) for major business transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor the delivery of chosen/approved projects for cross-functional clients and ensures the solution delivered meets the business specification and enables benefits realization. Ensure the adherence to the appropriate governance functions relating to the portfolio and in accordance with enterprise guidelines, policies and practices. Direct the creation and maintenance of the required project portfolio documentation and artifacts.
  • Perform feasibility studies and risk adjusted transformation benefit analyses. Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis including sensitivity, decision tree analysis to depict key interactions and utilizing simulation models to analyze the behavior/performance and the outcomes to project plan.
  • Monitor and audit IS projects that will directly impact/influence business processes and provide inputs to Director Portfolio to call out risks/issues/impacts within steering committees/stage gates.
  • Provide regular cadence and status updates of projects in flights. Manage risk management initiatives including risk planning, execution and response development.
  • Manage and foster communication and collaboration between Business and IS, where necessary.
  • Mentor junior business project managers and upskill talent.



  • 7 + years of Project management with experience in AGILE and Waterfall methodologies;
  • Experience in leading large strategic program (10+ Million) with multiple technologies and business units.Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies;
  • Prior Railway Experience , definite asset SAP Transportation Management experience;
  • Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering a definite asset;
  • Project management (PMP or Scrum master certification a must);
  • Portfolio Management;

Management Conductor Program:
