**This is a Spare board position and is part of a "pool" of people who are rotated through a list on an as & when required basis to protect vacation, sickness, open shifts & other vacancies with no guarantee of hours.**

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

As a Crew Bus Driver you will provide safe & efficient transportation of train crews and to perform general clerical duties associated with CP's Field Operations.

 

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • These positions are called to work on the spare board as drivers and are responsible for replacement on the spare board, driving company & leased vehicles;
  • The secondary duties will be to deliver mail/supplies as required, reproduce & distribute employees operating bulletins/notices, access internal computer CMA/MTPL database, maintains & distribute forms/supplies for running trade employees, provides clerical support for Field Operations team, fueling company/leased vehicles, exchange leased vehicle with external customer, and other related duties as may be assigned.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum grade 12 education;
  • Must have the ability to deal with people in a polite and professional manner and reflect a positive personal image;
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to operate company/leased vehicle;
  • Job requires basic driving abilities, keyboarding skills, clerical abilities;
  • Must be available to work all three shifts (08:00 - 16:00 - 00:01 hours) and must be available to come in under emergency conditions - subject two hours call out.
