PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The BPM development chapter is an exciting team to build an innovative BPM solution that accelerates the digital transformation at CP.

As a PEGA Development Lead, your main reasonability is to be the hands-on team lead to design and build high-profile workflow applications using the latest PEGA technologies. Working collaboratively with a team of PEGA developers and business partners, you are to accelerate the adoption and rollout of the PEGA platform at CP to enable faster delivery cycles.

You are also to oversee the development practice in several PEGA projects. You are to create and accelerate the adoption of the modern PEGA development practice with the focus on a cloud-ready, low code model.

 

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with partners to identify the business problem and provide a high-quality solution using the latest PEGA technologies.
  • Design the enterprise-class structure and reusable foundational components.
  • Integrate the PEGA solution with other enterprise applications through service and streaming technology.
  • Lead developer team to build the application using modern development practice, e.g., code review and DevOps pipeline to accelerate the delivery quality and speed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
  • Establish the low code and citizen development model to accelerate the delivery agility.
  • Research the latest PEGA platform capabilities and emerging BPM technology to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.
  • Enforce the consistency of PEGA application design and development practice across multiple greenfield projects.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to the developers.
  • Champion the knowledge sharing with the enterprise audiences.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of PEGA application development experience with medium-high complexity.
  • Certified System Architect (PCSA certification)
  • In-depth knowledge of PEGA version 8.5 and up.
  • Good understanding of DevOps and continuous delivery methodology
  • University degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to make technical design/enhancement recommendations/decisions across different applications/technologies, mentor on standards and coding practices and debug very complex or urgent problems
  • Able to resolve integration issues to guarantee solution conformance to requirements and engineering limitations
  • Strong business acumen related to medium / high complexity LOB(s)
  • Good understanding of JAVA and Cloud Technologies.
  • Prior experience with Content Management, Records Management, Forms Digitization, RPA
  • Preferred one or more relevant application design and development certifications
  • Completed intermediate courses or certificates in business communications
  • Prior experience with Agile projects
