PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The SAP Security Team Lead Specialist will be a part of CPKC’s Enterprise Security team and will be responsible for performing a variety of day-to-day and project-related SAP security activities.

 

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Coordinate and support SAP security for existing environments and new implementations, including activities related to user and role administration.
  • Plan, implement, and efficiently handle comprehensive security development, projects, access requests, incidents, and work orders
  • Coordinate with SAP functional teams to ensure timely delivery of tasks and lead team members to achieve project goals
  • Capture requirements, design, document, and implement SAP security processes in line with CPKC's security standards and threat assessments
  • Conduct training for team members and business groups, ensuring smooth transport of code to production environments through user acceptance testing
  • Proactively communicate and cooperate to address all aspects of tasks and projects, while capturing SAP security processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines in detail.
  • Support in implementing CPKC's information security strategy, ensuring adherence to policies, SOX controls, and control frameworks
  • Stay informed about emerging technology trends and regulations to support business needs, providing insights into leading industry and SAP security practices
  • Participate in rotational after-hours on-call support and perform various other duties as required

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree or equivalent in an IT-related field
  • 10 years of experience in core SAP security, encompassing design, analysis, configuration, compliance, and implementation
  • Proven leadership in managing teams for SAP role-based access management, SoD conflict resolution, role development, and technical security configuration
  • Expertise in leading SAP security projects, including blueprinting and documenting requirements, and crafting technical documentation.
  • Solid experience in addressing SoX audit and other compliance requirements, including working with IT auditors and managing SOX controls.
  • Proficiency in SAP HR security, S/4 Hana, SAP ECC 6.0, NetWeaver Gateway (Fiori), and GRC 12 environments
