We are hiring a summer intern running May through August, based in Minneapolis, MN. This is an exciting (paid) opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the dynamic, fast-paced Railway industry!




As Summer Intern your focus will be on Construction observation and coordination for rail projects, including heavy civil and track construction. Projects located in upper Midwest. Travel required.




  • Directly manage the execution of assigned projects;
  • Deliver projects within defined scope, timeline and budget;
  • Execute work in accordance with plans and specifications;
  • Provide safety leadership through job site safety audits;
  • Prepare daily construction progress reports; and




  • College Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering Program; Mechanical Engineering students will also be considered 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point;
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills combined with ability to primarily work in a field environment;
  • Valid US driver’s license for travel to project sites (company vehicle will be provided); and




Medical Requirements:
