POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Read legal agreements for the purpose of identifying the document type and classifying the document key information;
- Evaluate documents for purpose and characteristics, preparing them for scanning and long-term storage;
- Create basic geographical information system related to property and railroad infrastructure and creating the corresponding geospatial data
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be currently enrolled in a Business or Real Estate program or related field;
- Ability and enthusiasm for learning new skillsets;
- Possess a high level of attention to detail;
- Able to work with minimal supervision;
- Able to work well with others in a shared environment;
- Enjoy learning about, and working with, detailed subject matter;
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks;
- Has good computer/data entry skills;
- Able to read handwriting on historical documents;
- Experience with Google Earth Pro application;
- Knowledge of Section Township and Range coordinate system;
- Familiar with real estate terminology;
- Knowledge of Government Land Survey coordinate system;
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software;
- Interest in exploring career opportunities at CP Railway and/or real estate industry.
