PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
As a Crew Bus Driver you will provide safe & efficient transportation of train crews and to perform general clerical duties associated with CPKC's Field Operations.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- You will be called to work on the spare board as drivers (railyard & public roadways) and are responsible for replacement on the spare board, driving company & leased vehicles (full size pick-ups)
- Deliver mail/supplies as required
- Distribute employees operating bulletins/notices
- Access internal computer database
- Maintain & distribute forms/supplies for running trade employees
- Provide clerical support for Field Operations team
- Fuel company/leased vehicles
- Exchange leased vehicle with external customers
- Other related duties as may be assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company/leased vehicle
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Must have the ability to deal with people in a polite and professional manner and reflect a positive personal image
- Job requires basic driving abilities, keyboarding skills, clerical abilities
- Must be available to work all three shifts (07:00 - 15:00 – 23:00 hours) and must be available to come in under emergency conditions - subject two hours call out
- Bilingual in English & French

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Medical and Drug Testing
This is a safety sensitive position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company drug test is required. Post hire qualification drug testing may also be required.
