PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Labourer is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment within the Weston shop. This role supports daily operations by performing general cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, and ensuring shop areas remain organized and hazard‑free.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, emptying garbage, changing bags, and clearing metal bins
• Operate a forklift to move materials and support shop activities
• Pressure wash and clean the maintenance bay and shop floors to ensure a safe work environment
• Maintain an organized, orderly, and clean shop at all times

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general equivalency
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience working on or around heavy equipment
• Must be able to work within strict established safety and work guidelines/rules to complete job
• Ability to pass the required written examinations, read and understand safety instructions, rules, regulations and other written or printed material in English
